The Ethical Decision-Making Practices among Malaysian Consultant Quantity Surveyor

Ethical decision-making refers to the process of evaluating and choosing among alternatives in a manner consistent with ethical principles. (EDM) expertise is required for consultant quantity surveyors (CQSs) perform their duties effectively protect client's interests construction project. Therefore, as professionals industry, CQSs must develop strategies prevent corrupt practices when dealing EDM. Thus, this study aimed investigate Malaysian surveyors. qualitative research methodology was selected gain more detailed valid descriptions EDM phenomenon, through in-depth interviews. Results showed that several issues parties are responsible unethical experiences. Findings indicate learn experiential learning become experts professional practice they intuitively make decisions.
